If you have seen the film "Being John Malkovich," this explanation could mean more to you. The name refers to puppet strings...pulling at your mind...not necessarily controlling it...but having great influence on it. While no music abandons emotional value...our band strives to play prominently thoughtful music. We put all our hearts into the music, don't get me wrong, but we are striving for the ultimately intelligent end. I think this explanation need be here for the sole reason that the name DOES portray significance of something we believe in, and not just of a cheesy random name thing...
